Thomas Weilby Knudsen has been in Venture Capital for the last five years. Prior to joining venture capital, Thomas, has an operational background from ERP consulting, IT and telecoms, and held several senior management positions at TDC and Cybercity. Thomas has extensive experience in estabilishing new businesses within Internet and telecom across Europe. Thomas holds and M.Sc. degree in Economics (Finance and business administration) from University of Aarhus.
Thomas has board experience from TDC Hosting (eStructure), Kapow Technologies, Nangate, VisioPharm among other IT companies.

Kim Wiencken

Partner
Kim Wiencken has significant experience from both the software and venture capital industry. Kim has worked as an advisor for a number of European venture capital managers and in particular with venture backed ICT companies in Scandinavia and Germany. Kim is further part of the Faculty at Scandinavian International Management Institute, where he advises companies on growth and development issues.
Previously Kim has held senior positions in SAP, Oracle, and Deloitte Consulting and has through these positions a strong insight into the ICT sector.

Søren Jessen Nielsen

Søren has more than sixteen years working experience in the High-Tech, General Management, Strategy Consulting and Venture Capital/Private Equity industry, having served in multiple senior roles.
Søren began his career in 1989 within core R&D for space applications but soon joined Nokia where he worked for several years in France, Denmark and Sweden. He then joined Andersen Consulting and 3 years later the Management consultancy company A.T. Kearney – at both companies he worked with product & market strategy for telecoms and high-tech companies.
Søren has also had roles as interim Chief Operating Officer – COO, for a mobile semiconductor start-up and Director of Sales & Nordic General Manager for a Californian software (mobile internet focus) start-up company – in these roles he helped raise more than $ 40 Mill in equity for the companies. Most recently he has worked a 5 years in venture capital and private equity. Søren has worked in a $ 200 Million Nordic technologies venture fund and Partner and co-founder in a $ 100 Million industry Leveraged-Buy-Out fund. The past few years he has also been engaged in various entrepreneurial start-up in Asia and US.
Søren holds a Masters Degree from Aalborg University, Denmark, graduated with highest honors; in Microelectronics and Telecom combined with a years extend master thesis in microelectronics at ESIEE, France. He has complemented this with Executive Programs in strategy and finance from INSEAD – France.
Jacob Bratting Pedersen

Jacob has been in the venture capital business for 8 years. He is specialised in investment management, transactions and development of technology companies. He has been involved in seven exits and a large number of technology investments. Jacob has founded a number of technology companies and has been member of several boards focusing on building and developing businesses.
Prior to joining NorthCap Partners, Jacob was based in New York attracting American technology investments for Danish companies and worked three years in Israel focusing on technology exchange and venture capital.
Jacob holds a M.Sc BA from Copenhagen Business School and additional financial and entrepreneurial education from Harvard Business School, INSEAD and MIT.
